Weiting holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Calgary, and a Masters in Urban Design from Sheffield University, United Kingdom.

She previously completed her undergraduate studies in Engineering at Jinan University, China.

As a graduate student, she achieved a level of excellence by obtaining a GPA of 3.78/4.00 in a highly competitive and demanding graduate program, with a SAPL scholarship and 4 letters of recommendation for the university’s excellent academic performance. Weiting also obtained a Merit rating for his Master of Urban Design, where she further developed the concept of “the city as a resource” in urban design projects in the UK, Germany and Mexico.

 
Since 2020, he has been a key pillar of the MG&Co team. Weiting contributes to projects from initial reviews to construction, including site inventory and analysis, conceptual and detailed design, cost estimation, project management, plant material selection, site signage and site layout.

During her time working as an urban planner in China, Weiting received Provincial Urban Planning Merit Awards for several projects in Guangzhou. These include the Lingnan Park Concept Plan, the Urban Planning Exhibition Centre and the Site Planning of the International Children’s Hospital. She also gained excellent experience in documentation and project management by serving on the organizing committee of the “Three Museum – One Square” International Design Competition, which was held for the development of a new cultural centre in Guangzhou.
