Big impact in a small space was the approach taken to this project. With limited space for landscaping, every millimetre and touch in this garden was carefully crafted and considered. It incorporates carefully placed Rundle rocks and layers of vegetation to create dense, tiered coverage that doesn’t obstruct city views.
Without obstructing city views, in a very tight area we created a tear effect to reflect a natural rock formation of various sized rundle rock. The intent was to juxtapose the minimal clean feel of the architectural façade with an organic feel at ground level. Each rock was carefully selected and placed to create this effect.
The repetition of vegetation, in a mass-planting concept ties into the contemporary structure of the house.
