The homeowners contacted us, because they were looking for a company that could offer them a fresh, progressive landscape design that they had not yet seen in Calgary and that resonated with their new modern style house build. They wanted something different, functional and that really spoke to the modernism of the architecture. We started the design process and carefully worked through a series of iterations until we achieved a perfect outcome.

The linear elements of the design bring the visual aspects of the architectural forms to grade. This was accomplished with plant material, concrete flatwork, and custom made designer boxes that pop up in between the plantings. We carefully selected the vegetation and lighting, while respecting the existing plant growth, which helped to further emphasize this minimal landscape design concept.
