The clients did not know in advance what type of landscape they preferred for their new residence.
To gain that understanding, we worked on a series of hand-drawn sketches for the front yard to give us a clear direction for the rest of the project.
We also worked closely with the contractor and architect to ensure that our proposals for the building were feasible and architecturally in keeping.
One of the main features of the landscape design was the swimming pool.
The expanse, design, materials etc., all came together to create the backyard landscape, as well as an important view as you enter the house. As can be seen
the different versions of the plans, the design process for this project was long and took place over the course of two years.
There were many changes, revisions and adjustments along the way. The important thing is that we had established the visual concept of a modern, simple, minimalist approach early in the process.
We carried it into the front yard, detailing the design of the entry steps, the patio, the various levels of plantings, etc. We also incorporated a mass planting concept in which all the vegetation blooms in white.
The project needs a couple of years of settling in, but the results speak for themselves. The clients were very satisfied and awarded us the construction of this project as well.
